Wooden pallets. We can’t get enough of them. And thanks to the number of products we move around the world on them, pallets are low cost and easy to come by.

With the upcycling trend showing no sign of slowing down, the brilliant team at Block T are going to be running another pallet furniture making workshop. With a little skill and vision there are no limits to what a wooden pallet can be turned into! Pallet furniture is also bang on trend with the industrial minimalist look.

Matthew Hubber will lead the 4-week workshop where participants can get to grips with basic woodworking tools and learn fundamental furniture making techniques whilst at the same time building your own piece of unique furniture – wine rack, coffee table, vertical garden planter, pallet chair… the possibilities are endless!

The course starts on Tuesday September 6th, 19:00 – 21:00 and is broken down as follows:

  • Week 1 will cover how to measure and cut your pallet
  • Week 2 will focus on assembly and planning your pieces
  • Week 3 teaches you the skills you need to perfectly sand your wood
  • Week 4 is where the upcycled furniture are completed

The fee for the course is €145 and all materials are provided. (20% Discount for students/unwaged)

Book your place here while there are still spaces and follow Block T on Facebook to keep up to date with their brilliant courses.
